Tyre Fitting for all wheels
At CMC, we are committed to delivering the best service and value. To this end, we have invested in new tyre fitting equipment, to ensure that we can deliver a one stop service, all in-house.
Choice of valves
Other than regular black rubber valves, we stock polished chrome valve stems (11.5mm) and low profile valves which have no regular stem, but instead have a small bump where the valve would come out, and a detachable inflator. We are also able to install TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) on vehicles which are not equipped with TPMS as standard.
No Wheel or Tyre too big!
We are equipped with the Monty 3300 Racing tyre fitting machine. This fine piece of machinery from Hofmann can handle wheels up to 24" diameter and up to 14" width, that's more than enough for just about any wheel on the road!
It is designed and manufactured to meet the demands of the latest vehicles with features such as TPMS, run flat tyres aas well as extra low profile, whilst still being delicate enough to manage with custom alloy wheels.
State of the art wheel balancing
The GeoDyna 3900 is the perfect partner to the Monty 3300. With more modes of operation than there is space here to describe. The most notable highlight is that it can work with spoke'd wheels from 3 to 12 spokes, specifically to hide all of the balancing weights behind the spokes. For those people that are particularly keen to keep the weights down to the minimum, the GeoDyna 3900 supports an advanced mode that balances the wheel and tyre separately from one another, in order to optimise the tyre placement on the wheel to use the natural imbalance of the tyre to offset any wheel imbalance (such as valve and TPMS). For day to day usage, regular dynamic balancing is sufficient, however, if you require the optimised balancing option, please let us know in in advance.
